A local news anchor kept on repeating about the eclipse, "The sun and moon will move into position."
NO YOU IDIOT the earth and moon move the sun stays put.
I really cannot stand the greed of humans. Epi Pen, now I am hearing stories of hotels gouging over this eclipse. Oh yea it is legal because it is a non emergency. I DONT GIVE A FUCK. I can get a little range, but after that it is pure greed.

Actually, the planets and smaller bodies AND the Sun rotate around a common point. Just happens to be inside the Sun.

If the eclipse is the work of god then now would be an ideal opportunity to show us his power. You know, have the thing delayed by a few minutes. That would definitely get peoples attention.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
