Is time travel Impossible Because time Doesn't Exist?

Don't know where to put this is i'll try here...
Time is an interesting subject, although i think we have forgotten time is man made. The only reason we have "days" day and night, is that the earth orbits the sun.
Technically, i no the Sun does not orbit Earth, the Sun and all the planets are orbiting around the center of mass of the solar system.
But you get my point, seconds, minuets, hours, days, where created by man for our very own convenience and everyday lives, but in actual fact we are in only one constant that is now. No tomorrow no yesterday only the ever expansion of the universe.
So how does that define us? i guess the statement "you are old as old as you feel hold some weight"
I look at time as tool for measuring, time was invented by man as a means of measurement and nothing more. When did time gain magical powers?.
Time is a very handy tool, but people have to remember, MATH IS NOT REALITY!. Math is a tool like a mile or liter etc. Time is in the same category as all other measurements, they don’t exert a force on the physical world.
so with this being said, does this make time travel impossible? as i see lately the idea seems to be gaining traction.
i am not inserting a truth claim here, this is just my personal opinion, i just want to see what people think....

Time travel has been proven possible by the Hafele–Keating experiment in 71.
Using cesium based time devices.
Quantum superposition seems to defy time also.
Going back might be a problem. Going forward is easy ....Just wait. It'll come to you.

I dunno.
If time is relative depending upon how close to the speed of light you're travelling compared to someone else moving at a different speed, then I would imagine there are many past, present and futures occurring at the same time.
We may have invented the way in which we count time but we didn't invent time.

We are moving through time all the time, it is not impossible.

We need to get our resident physicist in here for conformation but I'm fairly certain time is not man made. Our measurements of time are. Time exists whether we measure it or not.

"We are moving through time all the time, it is not impossible. "
but the time we are moving though is now, like you have reached the end but the end is constant if you no what i mean? :B thats what i think anyway, you can't move forward into time that hasn't happened yet.
"I'm fairly certain time is not man made."
i think it's just a word, label, we have placed on it to give it meaning like anything else.
"Time exists whether we measure it or not. "
Agreed, we have the intelligence capacity to utilize time in the way we do, so we do.

Don't confuse a human method of keeping track of something as the thing itself. You can measure the progress of a glacier in yards, meters, cables, whatever, but those numbers aren't the glacier.

I look at this way, going "forward" in time is merely change happening, going from a higher order energy state to a lower order energy state; increasing entropy.
You can't go backwards in time as much as you can't get a negative length, area or cubits of a measurement; which are handy concepts that only exist in mathematics. sqrt(-1) = i comes to mind. But this is just a poor analogy.
