Yeah, this is where the private sector steps in and helps people out of the goodness of their heart. See? We don't need Big Government pushing their way into people's lives after all.

It puts things into perspective when you realize just how wealthy some families are that they have enough money to pay for all of the damages caused by a major disaster across several States.  And all of the dumb poor slobs go off to war to suffer while the rich ones sit on their butts getting even richer.  It happens around the world.

Thank god global warming isn't real, or we'd expect more and more of these horrible hurricanes every year.

One thing that amazes me during hurricanes is why people didn't move their cars out of low spots onto higher ground.
