In What Way is the Higgs Boaon Unstable?

Does it fluctuate in the amount of energy it emits? Is it easily destroyed? Does it move about nervously? If I put a higgs boson on a sound stage, what would I see and hear that would leave me with the impression that it is unstable?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

It just decays into other particles after a very short time once it is made (mostly into pairs of bottom quarks). That's what one means when one says that a particle is unstable.

I wouldn't be too sure of that, Brew. Bottom quarks aren't the kinda guys you want to meet in a dark alley. They're on the bottom, man, with nothing to lose. Know what I mean?
