One thin fiber filled. I'll fold it in half if I want my head elevated for TV. Usually ends up with my wife or on the floor because I spend most of the time prone. The drool just runs directly into the bed.

One standard pillow. Anything more causes a pain in the neck.

I have 2 regular pillows and a body pillow. I can't sleep without any of them.

I use three pillows. I have C-Spine Disc Disease so sleeping in the right position is essential to prevent pain. I have asthma which prevents me from sleeping on my back. I need to sleep on my side. I am fairly wide across the shoulders. Archers might recognize a 40 inch draw as evidence of that. So, three pillows places my neck parallel to my spine while sleeping.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

I have three but I only use all of them if I have a nasty cold and don't want to lie flat.
Most of the time I sleep on my side and use one pillow strategically scrunched up between my head and one shoulder. Sometimes a second pillow is at my back. If my legs are sore, that second pillow goes between my knees. All three are medium-soft microgel pillows.  RE: How many pillows do you sleep with, how do you use them & which can't you do without?

just one normal pillow with my arm under it as I fall asleep
I jump from side to side all night The poor cat follows me too ...he likes my heart beat I think ... Grown man cat still needs his mummy! Why do I end up with all the weirdos?

I use 1 pillow. Occasionally none.

I sleep in a single bed with 1 pillow under my head.
I used to have a doublebed but the mattress was pretty hard, I used to envy my friends with single beds and soft mattresses. It's nice to spread out on a double bed but I don't really sleep like that. I don't like how much space a double bed takes up, I like my room to be compact, Japanese style. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to.
