Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of Donald Wuerl, the archbishop of Washington, making the US cardinal the most recent senior figure to step down in the wake of a global abuse scandal that has shaken the Catholic Church.

Resign? But how can he resign from a sacrament? Isn't that for life?

Except the pharmacist refusing the medication was also refusing to transfer the prescription.

“All women should be able to go to a Meijer pharmacy to obtain the medicine they need without fear of discrimination,” said Kovach. “She was refused this medication simply because she is a woman ... clearly (she) was a victim of sex discrimination. Had the customer been a man prescribed the same medication, that is also commonly used to treat ulcers, we have no doubt the pharmacist would have filled it.”

Clearly this is true because the pharmacist told the patient that he was refusing the medication because he believed she would use it to end a pregnancy.

A Catholic exorcist said he plans to hold a mass for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh next weekend after a group of witches announced their plans to gather in Brooklyn to publicly hex him.

"Conjuring up personified evil does not fall under free speech," Father Gary Thomas, who serves as an exorcist for the Diocese of San Jose, Calif., told The National Catholic Register.

A wider group of Catholics and exorcists also plan to pray and fast for "the protection" of Kavanaugh, who is Catholic.

Catholic Bishops Promising to Fix Sex Abuse Problem Face Cover-Up Accusations

As Catholic bishops try to reassure the flock that the church is finally confronting the scourge of sexual abuse by priests, it has fallen to Cardinal Daniel N. DiNardo, the president of the American bishops conference, to lead the effort.
“I have no illusions about the degree to which trust in the bishops has been damaged by these past sins and failures,” said Cardinal DiNardo, in one of the many statements he has issued on sexual abuse in recent weeks. “It will take work to rebuild that trust.”
Yet Cardinal DiNardo himself has recently been criticized for allowing a priest accused of abuse to serve in a parish in his archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, disregarding the warnings by a young woman who said she told the cardinal in person seven years ago that this priest had molested her when she was 16.

Hey, that's why they're sucking up to Kavanaugh. They have a lot of legal nightmares on them and much more pedophile cases to come so it is urgent that they get some powerful judges on their side. You think that criminal organization like Catholic Church would last this long if they didn't have ties to governing bodies? I mean you have over 2000 signatures by law professors attesting that Kavanaugh is not capable of being a supreme judge that don't even take into account the allegations against him and yet Catholic Church will all make it look like a Catholic boy is being persecuted by the devil possessed heathens - oh, so Christ-like.
