Some will continue to say, however, that the (religious) Lite Beer is not as good as the regular stuff.

In the end, if smoking Oregano makes you think you're getting higher than smoking Thyme, by all means, smoke Oregano.

As long as smokers do not smoke around me or force me and/or my kids to smoke or say that smoking is, overall, good for one's health or threaten eternal punishment for those who do not smoke or expect tax-exemption status (using my money, albeit, indirectly) for smoke advocacy groups or try to indoctrinate young children into smoking or say that those who do not believe in smoking are "of the Devil" or claim that just because "god" is a smoker than you should believe in smoking, I think that such is unfortunate, but is, nonetheless, their right and privilege.

Strange thing about that, if you convince your kid that you're going to roast their flesh it's abuse...but if you convince your kid that someone else is going to do it... it's piety.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Yeah, it's sick:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_house

But, there may be some hope:

Quote:As of 16 Jan 2017 the "Hell House Kit" is no longer being offered on Roberts website. No information is available on when Roberts stopped selling the kits.

Most kids will undoubtedly write-it off.  But, as a transgender female in my early teens (not even hearing the word "transgender" for another 2 decades), I knew that I was a sinner destined for the "eternal fire", and I believed that I was going to Hell for having feelings within me (being a girl and cross-dressing as such) that I was simply unable to control.

This is why the subject of hell is strictly verboten in our house.  It doesn;t even matter if the place is real...and if it is, any given sinner will get there soon enough...theres no reason to add their childhood to the sentence.

Yeah, you threw a tantrum after being sanctioned for flouting the Rules.

And it's "could have". If you're going to abuse words, at least learn how they work first.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Life is meaningless for everyone I think.

Well, intrinsically so anyway. I sometimes wonder if we kind of give each other's lives meaning though the way we impact each other's lives.

Oh by the way... I don't think life is morally meaningless. I mean, I'm one of those weirdo atheists who believes in objective morality.

But it's one thing for there to be technically a meaningful sense of right and wrong and another thing for life to actually feel meaningful and to actually be able to motivate yourself to do some real good in the world or care much about anything when it comes down to it if life is just going to be some sort of analogy of a broken record that eventually gets scratched enough that it becomes unplayable however initially beautiful that broken record was.

You mean the one that ironically makes you look like a fool .

Quote:It's rather amusing how something as benign as "sweetie" triggers feminists...
One does not need to be a feminist to find the word sweetie condescending . Especially from a creep like you .

Quote:And if your avatar is anything to go by 50 years is ridiculously optimistic
And she's still a beauty( please merely accept that as a compliment )

Quote:All is vanity.
Poetic verbiage is not a refutation .

All is peanut butter

All is kitchen sinks

All is porn

See it no more impressive
Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

*Sigh*

Quoting someone in your signature was not against any rule at the time. If you want to claim the quote was out of context, I challenge anyone to show the proper context as opposed to what was in my sig.
