As far as I am concerned, this is a thread about someone discussing how they don't do men.
No. It's about reconizing the prejudice within attempting to overcome it. It's about the incorrect discriptor society uses when refering to folks such as myself. The label "Homophobia" was not helping me to come to terms and move towards overcoming this irrational dislike.
Understanding, I believe is the first step to overcoming an irrationallity of any sort. This was a start.
To allude that I must be gay because I am heterosexual doesn't help. It's like saying Fr0d0's arguements are reasonable because they are unreasonable. You just reinforce the prejudice within.
Defining the "phobia" or prejudice within, IMO, is the first step towards understanding and maybe eventually overcoming and purging the irrationallity of it.

Do you know many homosexuals closely Dotard? With me I think it was the unfamiliarity, and the de-facto stance of my immediate cohort. Once exposed to the idea you see people rather than fear.

I'm sure it matters to you, because "homophobia," or whatever is your feeling. For me, I know the definition, so the misnomer doesn't bother me much. I realize that "homophobics" don't start hyperventilating or freaking out when gay people are around. Therefore, I never gave it much thought, nor do I really care to.
I hope that you are able to overcome your irrational dislike of gay people. You might find that some are very cool people. They're individuals, just like women.

I'm not sure that they are individuals... they seem to all be the same person, even me 0.o I'm just lucky to have experienced a different platform... when I return to assimilate, I will have brought something truly unique back.

I doubt it. None of the gay men I know would put up with that weather and lack of shopping.
