Birth defects came because of the fall, God cursed His creation and thus it lost it's perfection. Even with birth defects evolution isn't viable. Birth defects do not give new info they are harmful mutations that damage. GC

This refers to the Jews (I think) as the ones who were invited to the wedding but didn"t come.
