I disagree. I seek guidance from my family, from my close friends, from my past experiences. There's guidance everywhere, no god needed

What do you mean guidance everywhere? If you mean truth mixed with falsehood, yes that is true. There is a lot of guidance mixed with error everywhere.

Moral guidance mixed with moral erring is whence evil can be justified in the illusion one is acting out of good.

If falsehood was presented all by itself with no truth mixed in it, no one would believe in it.  And if truth and falsehood are separated clearly in people mind,  then we would be united.

But the truth is things are all mixed and evil is usually justified by mixing truth with it and masking it with the goodness.

Everyone seeks guidance naturally and guidance is everywhere, but so is error whence error and guidance are all moshed up everywhere.

If you want guidance real guidance, not mixed with falsehood, evil, and error,   if you want clarity without confusion, that takes acknowledgement of God and your enemies who seek to mislead you,   and do depend on the Mastery of God through his handhold and rope while disbelieving in all else that opposes his choice.

The kind of truth or guidance you're suggesting does not exist. Millions and millions of people believe in "God". Millions and millions of people even believe in the same God as you. None of them, not even you, have ever found a perfect truth or guidance. None agree on every aspect about what this god's guidance is or means. What use is a god's guidance if it's inaccessible.

They seem to get up to some pretty nasty shit on the basis of god, as well.  A smart man once said;

"moral guidance mixed with moral erring is whence evil can be justified in the illusion one is acting out of god"

......or something to that effect.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. That is what you conclude precisely because you disbelieve in the Source of guidance. If you believe God is the best of guides, then numerous people and their aversion towards it and people all disunited from it, will not cause you to lose faith in being guided by the Master of the Authority, and you will rely on him.

Quote:What use is a god's guidance if it's inaccessible.

No use at all.  But if we don't fight and let the darkness take over us, despite the door of light there and the path with us, and the light there in the darkness, as we perish, and God's sword screams to pick it up, saying have compassion on yourself and fight,  and if we ignore searching guidance from God and refuse all help whether in form of a book from Him and leaders appointed by him,  and we become enemies to believers who present clear proofs and don't let reminders sink in by sheer desires to justify our falsehood and lies we made of an identity,  that accessibility was never the issue. We were the issue, and taking responsibility is a must for a people to be turned to mercifully after their great injustice in aversion from the source of love and the value by which all things are meant to be loved by.

To love the illusions of the dark one and equate them with God, and to turn away from the great light spread in creation, and not love the face of God that remains and will not perish in all that,  is a huge injustice whence we have no one to truly blame but ourselves.

Iblis sorcery and plans through his forces plan day and night, were all weak. Just takes some reasonable resolution and courage, and everything becomes easy and the falsehood breaks one after another and the truth becomes established clearly for a people a people who seek certainty.

So..what do I need to roll for a saving throw against this sorcery?

Losty, I have an argument I been working on and making notes, it is simply an elaboration on why Love proves God. It reflects on the issue in detail.

If you want to have an official debate on this, I will. I will present the argument and elaboration.

It might be just as good as the witness argument. And we all know no one has been able to touch the witness argument so far.

I don't do debating and I'll be honest I don't even know what the witness argument is. I don't see any problem with you believing what you want to believe. If you want to believe there's a God, that's fine with me. But I just hope you'll believe in a God that at least leads you to kindness and good things.
As far as me believing, you (or anyone else for that matter) haven't said anything that makes God more believable to me.

Yet I am leaping and leaping in certainty on the path of vision through reason and insights you all claim not to be convinced by, go figure.

I don't trust certainty... certainty only means you've stopped asking questions... but there's always more to ask. We need a few more for a Mafia game... why not give it a go MK?... there you can see the effects of certainty in action... how it's possible to be 100% sure in a theory about who the scum team is (depending on how immersed you get) and still be wrong 9 out of 10 times. It's a great way to see psychology in action, if you're interested.
