Still no proof of collusion as yet against the president, Kommiekal. The charges brought against Manafort and Gates happened a few years even before Trump started his bid to run for president. Even the case against Papadopoulos hasn't yeilded anything against Trump as yet, either. Also connected to the investigation, Tony Podesta, a Democrat donor and brother of John Podesta resigned from his position of the Podesta Group, a lobbying firm that also has connections to Manafort and  Russia. This may go further than just the Trump campaign.

Actually, you are only partially correct. The investigation started a few years before the trump campaign started, but has clearly continued well into 2017. The indictments that came over the weekend are just the start of what is to come. With two men being indited and another turning himself in and pleading guilty, I'd say we're in for quite a long show. 

Clearly we don't know everything that's going on behind closed doors or within the confines of the courthouse, so all anyone can really do at this point is just speculate about what they think will happen.

They are still, at this very hour, saying negative things about the POTUS and his cabinet members. So honestly - where are they being prevented from "doing their jobs"?
