What are your goals and dreams?
|
I dream of the things normal people have the way they dream of riches and fame. A job. friends. A girlfriend. My own place. If I actually can do those things It might not be in that exact order.
This may sound smug, but I've got what I want. I live with the love of my life, I have work that's demanding enough to engage me, bonzer friends, and leisure time. So, I suppose my only goal at this point is to fail to die for a significant number of years.

Get my Psychology degree, become a therapist and help people, essentially all i wish for.

Just to raise my kid to become a productive member of society.

I'm so glad no one has said "to be happy" because then it's just like... the point is what would make you happy lol.
Exactly. Money. Lots and lots of money.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Simple: when I die, I want to take a few fuckers with me
Seriously, I have no idea. Things are different when you're disabled and income = a loss of vital services (dawg bless the USA). So, things like a career never really enter the equation. I haven't had a goal that wasn't related to something medical in a long time.
To see my young son grow into a respectable Christian man who loves Christ.
To love, support and encourage my wife for as long as I'm allowed to have her. To be a better, more transparent, and more earnest follower of Christ each day. To finally drop to my knees in tears of joy as I'm finally introduced, directly, to an incommensurable good in God, as I pass from this life to the next and can see Him clearly.
