South Park is the best cartoon and anyone who disagrees is objectively wrong.
The first 3 series aren't very good compared to series 4 and onwards though.
Princess Tutu is amazing and so underrated
Lately I've mostly watched popular anime like Naruto and One Piece. I thought Tokyo Ghoul was really good. I've seen some more obscure ones in the past.
Right now, I'd say my favorite is Psycho-Pass. At first I thought the premise of was kind of hokey but as the story developed it really drew me in as a plausible speculative future.
Full-Metal Alchemist had a charming niavite about it. And I really like the subtle personality differences between the various state alchemists. Death Note kept me glued for the first 5 episodes and then it just got way too convoluted for me - like of like a complex time travel story that keeps looping around on itself. Great characters though. High School of the Dead was interesting for a while...because, you know...boobs. Attach on Titan? Yeah, very interesting. In my opinion they're taking way too long to get into the origin of the Titans. The live-action version had a lot of promise but for me was a real let down.
Best Anime Series: Dragon Ball (original)
Best Anime Movie: Robot Carnival Dragon Ball is way better than Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball GT, by the way.
I'm watching Gundam Wing...
very entertaining
The best cartoons... The Simpsons and The Penguins of Madagascar!!

One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day." |
