Eternal afterlife

RE: Eternal afterlife
I'm honoured. Smile
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Technically, the idea of "eternal" is nonsensical. Biblically, it is the Greek adjective aiOnios and should have been translated: breath-being-belonging-to-him/her/it. Such as zOEn aiOnion in John 3:16, translated "eternal life", should have been translated: zOE-life(feminine), breath-being-belonging-to-her.

It's talking about a here and now potential and not some 'eternity'.

ai = breath
On = being as in existence
aiOn refers to an unspecified length of time (breath-being) including the present. It is sometimes erroneously translated as "world"
ios = belonging-to with the "i" also making it an adjective

Greek words are a root such as 'ai' with the rest of the alphabet soup being the grammatical infection. In Greek every letter is important.

Sorry, I have NO IDEA why people preach what they preach when it is not biblical. To be fair to the bible, ALL theology is NOT biblical! Yet, they teach theology as "truth". Theology is ecclesiastical nonsense perpetuated by a clergy!

That's interesting...

Still waiting for a citation for that.

Currently, no one occupies Hell (probably not even in existence yet), the first 2 to enter are the Anti-Christ, and His False Prophet which is before the 1000 year Kingdom Reign of Christ on earth. 3'rd is Satan himself at the end of the 1000 years (for that period, for almost it's entire duration, he will be held in the bottomless pit). At the end of the 1000 years, there is the Great White Judgement of those that wish not to accept God's Work-of-Redemption and desire go into their eternal abode without God's influence. But God still protects those there from the one's who demonstrated the most evil on earth by restraining there actions which causes them 'torment'. The 'New Creation' is a free sin zone but the really good part is free-will is greatly enhanced without even the possibility of sinning.
Atheist Credo: An universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.

RE: Eternal afterlife
The Afterlife of the Force was a descriptive term used for the plane of existence all souls inhabited after death. Contrary to a belief once held by the Jedi, this realm was open to anyone whether or not they possessed Force sensitivity. It was a non-physical location that could be given the appearance of a three-dimensional space depending on the perception of a being that entered the realm.

Real topic on starwars forum:

What happens when Sith die?

Like, do they become one with the dark side or something?

@It's something I honestly don't know, that's why I'm asking... I don't know if anything has ever been said about it one way or the other. I consider myself reasonably knowledgable on SW, but i sure haven't read every SW publication there is, not by a long shot. So while I haven't seen any commentary on that that I can remember, there may be something said about it somewhere.

@From what I recall about ROTS novelization, the Sith are always trying to learn the secret of eternal life, but they never can master it. One has to be selfless and such things that the Sith are not.

No possibility of sinning, what's the point of that then? I've lived quite happily without Gods influence up to now, I can cope with being separate from him as long as I'm not on fire.
