If anyone gets the chance, the Outer Limits (90s revised series) episode Inconstant Moon is an interesting exploration of a night when a crescent moon was WAY too bright . . .
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It's gorgeous.  Cold here tonight, crystal clear skies.  The ridges are lit.  I climbed up on my roof and drank a few with it.
