I love Red Dwarf, but it's far less consistent (at least when compared to II, the Third, and Goes Forth.) And even when it's great (which it frequently is), I still find some things to quibble about, even if it's something like "I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Grant and Naylor have never actually read Lolita."
I know my Library of America copy might not be representative, but Page 61 has her being driven away to Camp Q (Kubrick or maybe producer James B. Harris changed its name to Camp Climax; it's still Camp Q in his version of the script) and there's little worse than a hug (and she doesn't even know what he really feels yet.)
