There's actually a lot of Satan worshippers that do all kinds of satanic stuffs not to mention the amount of people that m worship satan at least indirectly by embracing the path of evil, most of them end up in jail but a lot of them are still out there, who knows what they're capable of and innocent people are regularly the victim of such evil

I have a hard time even recollecting what I've dreamt the night before.

I’ve had plenty of nightmares in my life, but absolutely none of them involved satan or hell. Not even in my early years when I was essentially playing at being Catholic. I’ve never feared those things because they’re utterly absurd. Might as well have nightmares of violent Gold Finches or something. At least they have the benefit of being real.

My nightmares are far more mundane. Most take the form of school related stress, where I’ve forgotten to do something and there was impending negative consequences because of it.

Good and evil aren’t cosmic forces. There’s no war for souls going on. Indeed, if souls were a thing, they’d be detectable.

The idea that every person is of divine importance is a core component of Christianity’s whiplash humble brag nature. They’re simultaneously worthless and nothing without their god, yet satan is hiding in their cereal, just waiting for them to slip and succumb to temptation, because they’re that important to him.

It’s stupid. Most people are of no consequence outside of their little circle of family and friends. Most people’s impact on the world is, for all intents and purposes, null. We will all die, and the universe will move on, uncaring.

My worst nightmare:

I'm taking a full load of classes. I dropped a class, but the paperwork didn't go through and I got a 5-week grade report showing that I was getting an "F" in the class that I was sure I had dropped. Fight like hell with the administration, to no avail. <Goes from the Dean's list to academic probation> I had that nightmare for years after graduation, usually when I had a fever.

The only thing that dropped me off the Dean's list was meeting my future bride. What a semester that was. Still married, 36 years later. The Dean's list is ancient history.  

There is no devil, except in literature, such as in the wholly buy-bull.

I have similar dreams even though I graduated in '04. They're incredibly vivid. I'm on campus, and freaking out because I skipped a class for most of the semester, or I'm scrambling to do a project, or something else along those lines that produces a lot of anxiety.

Nightmares relating to school I think last time I saw was in 4th grade. I was at class and it suddenly hits me I forgot to wear my pants.. I'm sitting there half naked and nobody in class hasn't noticed it..yet.
I scramble, what to do, what to do. Oh I know I'll pretend like I'm writing notes... Lol

I was raised a Jehovah's Witness and as a child had some very vivid nightmares so I can identify with those who do fear them, there is little you can do about what you dream about. And of course my parents didn't have a clue what to do when I was so terrified I couldn't even move or speak.

However time does help, the dreams/ nightmares fade and cease, in fact it must be years since I went to sleep fearing what I will dream about, too many to count. It does heal, it does go away.

Now I'm free of religion fully I will never mock those who have such nightmares and will always respond with compassion, I have sat with a few people and helped them through unsettling dreams/ nightmares. Even if all that entails is listening, believing them and Sharing that they can cease.

It takes a long while for a new way of thinking to work its way back to the subconscious, it will heal hang in there.

Not believing in the existence of any god, one kinda automatically disbelieves the existence of the minions and villains in the stories concerning those gods... right?

Fuck that shit about subliminal Satanic messages. Why not just make a song about Satan?
