More seriously, if the question is "squishy" enough -- that is, if it isn't a straightforward request for a fact such as the height of a mountain, but rather something subjective like how to proceed in a relationship situation -- it's easy to find two or more answers and likely one of them will agree with the supposedly divine answer that the believer imagined up.

Makes one wonder where the legitimate and proven voice of god was before the internet.
All those poor assholes without such a wonderful tool of divine confirmation as we possess today.

A personal one on one Doubting Thomas experience protracted over time. Meaning not only do you get your version of putting you hands on the wounds of Christ but you have this access to God the rest of your life on your terms..
The problem? in essence You want God to be your servant. you want to conjure and have God do things for you. You do not want a God you want a genie. Otherwise your question would be "what do I have to do to serve God" Not what does God have to do for me to proove he is worthy of you.
Now in essence this is What God is offering in Luke 11, if you can humble yourself and meet Him on His terms. Which then turns the tables back where you like me would have complete access to God, except now you will be working for Him. instead He serving you.
Here's the thing sport. God does not love everyone. God loves his Children/all of them, but again not all are his children. If you can come to a place where you do not demand God seek you out and serve you, then He rightfully so wants nothing to do with you as you already belong to another.
Amusingly, god gets it wrong again.

If the answer was internal I would not need to ask the question.
I can do exactly the same thing by mentally consulting Oðinn, Raistlin Majere, or my guardian dragon Glori. Sounds like all you're doing is mentally stepping into a different perspective and letting your unconscious mind take the com.
IF you were honest with yourself you couldn't. That is why those religions are dead. There is nothing that supported those gods outside the soceity once it failed. Christianity transends soceities and culture because once tested people find what the bible promises.
To a degree all active religions work the same. there is something that has to support or reinforce those religions or they die.

Then please explain... because what I said was based off your demands. meaning you can not demand God provide you an explanation without wanting the things I provided.

How fucking dare you accuse me of lying, you insufferable little bastard!
The point is that I got lasting results that changed my life for the better, including saving myself from a potentially lethal situation, and did it with the power of my imagination.
Apologize now, contritely and without any qualifiers or reservations, or may your own faith turn into an emotional blight that poisons everything it touches in your life until the faith itself is gone.

Do you understand what an atheist is?
Hey, retard. I was speaking to an individual who acknowledged God and ask me to relay a question to Him. Your word does not apply here. Why because if a person says ask God "x" he can't pretend he is Atheist.

do you find that shaking your fist at people in a great state of offense works? ever?
I am just pointing out fact. In that MOST people are smart. they can identify when a God is fake or dead. just like the modern understanding of the Christian God in most cases is dead/fake. however people now, do not understand how Christianity works well enough to understand that those versions (pre-school/sunday school) versions of God were mere stepping stones to a greater understanding. So then rather than grow in our understanding of God we simply identify that this particular version of God is not real and assume that no other version can be real because of how smart people like you think you are in your 'truth telling/belief.' then the "smart person" deems themselves 'atheist' because they tried and failed to understand God once.
In other words I do not doubt what you believe, I am simply saying you are wrong to believe what you do. Why, because all of those expression of faith have been dead. because again most understand and are truthful to themselves, and they found nothing spiritual behind the religion or what ever there was behind the religion such as a community of believers is no longer supporting what was making the religion 'real.'
You are too stupid to acknowledge what everyone else has, or you found a "spirit" to float your beliefs. Either way The God of the bible has made provision and warned us of both types of toxic faiths you are so proud of. Meaning we can compartmentalize your beliefs and dismiss them.

and low, here is the 'moral' atheist commentator. mind you he has nothing to say... just like to criticize and mock who do.

Referring to somebody as a 'retard' is pretty damn gross.
Criticism is essential to rational discourse; it's how we learn by having our ideas challenged and subjected to scrutiny. It's why science is so effective.
Mockery can be valid when all other forms of debate are ignored and an honest dialogue is not occurring.
