RE: Explain This #1: Belief vs. Knowledge
January 4, 2018 at 1:57 pm
Philosophically, there are 4 ways to distinguish between believing and knowing
1. What we believe to be true, must in fact be true
2. We must believe what we believe to be true is true
3. We must have good reasoning and evidence
4. Our evidence must not be false or fabricated information
If all 4 are satisfied, then we can claim "to know" and therefore have knowledge, if not it is a belief

Someone mentioned poop and there was nothing from you.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
