Which one would you rather be: Deaf or Blind?

Deaf. No question.

Deaf. No great loss, since I don't really care what most people have to say.

Deaf. For there is far more beauty in the world to se than music too hear.

I had to go with hearing. Although I have heard, that hearing can be more difficult to be without. The thought being, that it makes it more difficult to communicate, and those who have lost hearing become paranoid, and left out of the conversation. But without sight, I would have difficulty working at anything close to what I am good at now. Hearing would certainly be a hindrance, but without site, programming would be tough, and I don't think that it is good to find your way around an electrical cabinet by touch.

I'd rather be completely blind, dumb and lose both my legs than lose one of my ears.
I think an ear is on par with an arm for me. Some people are "all sixes and sevens", I'm all arms and ears. If I ever became completely deaf I think I'd kill myself. Being blind or losing my legs would cause a depression but I'd probably end up getting through it with music. How am I supposed to get through a depression with music if I can't hear? Same if I lost both my arms. Probably kill myself. Unless by then I was able to have cybernetic arms or cybernetic ears... then I'd keep on living. (January 2, 2018 at 1:31 pm)ShirkahnW Wrote: Deaf. I'd rather be blind. I already have a hard time seeing without my glasses (very bad sight), so I know what it's like. To have no sound would be torture. Then again, I wouldn't be able to read until I figured out braille. Shit. I may have chosen wrong. Either would suck ass.
I've been married four times.
I'd give up hearing. You don't necessarily need hearing to enjoy music. Just have your brain play back the music from your memory.
