I am not really arguing for "Religious foundamentlism" i am not really anti religious but i am against fundamentalism just due to what happens if a society has a totalitarian regime.
However, what i am saying is let society be realistic. Wanna know why i think its bad? Because i saw Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.

Secular societies tend to be the best in the world, though. You can't really base something off atheism itself, because all it means is not a theocracy. Secularism leads to freedom and equality, so it is in fact very good for the world

Secular does NOT mean godless.

But what it does do is negate the "god" side which makes it the same as atheistic.

I don't think so, I mean many countries operate on atheistic values and moral philosophies, they are still thriving

What is an atheistic value?

For that matter, what is a xtian value since so many of the assholes are usually prattling on about it being the foundation of the US.

I think I meant values that are independent of theology and shared by many people across cultures e.g. Honour and Compassion, for example, the Golden Rule 

Xtian values are more difficult to define, because in my experience, there's literally nothing original to Christianity
