You can whine all you want that we're being unfair, or narrow minded.  But the fact is, your competing narrative is absurd from word one, and doesn't deserve serious consideration.  That you take it so seriously doesn't mean we should.

I've also noted pointing out various verses (OT and NT) that sure don't enjoy being taken seriously by modern era US Christians is never well received.

Another enduring mystery of faith I suppose . . . .
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
