A native of Ballybricken the Cranberries lead singer rose to fame in the early 1990s and went on to sell over 40 million records worldwide.
The Limerick group were one of the most successful bands of the ‘90s with worldwide hits including Zombie, Linger, and Dreams.

I thought she was great. It's a terrible shame that she died so young.

So sad that she died so young. Only 9 years older than me. It makes you think. I can still remember some of her songs.

What a shame. I loved her distinctive voice.
The Cranberries represent the end of music for me. The early 90s was the last gasp of anything I want to listen to. They were the last music stars before it all went to rap and hip hop.
