It's about giving more power to women than men...over their own bodies. Not unreasonable at all.
Sure, but no one here is saying that if a specific girl requests that of her partner he shouldn't comply.

Lol I'm not accusing anyone of actually saying that. My explanation was directed at people that were stretching the idea of consent to such absurd levels that they thought permission had to be asked every.step.of the way. I'm not sure if they were joking or if they were being completely serious (God bless them in that case), whatever the case nobody got the gist of what it actually means. It's not about forcing every relationship on the planet to follow strict consent rules, Jesus, that's not at all what it means, it just seeks to give more individual freedom to women so that if they wanted to they can demand it. Obviously no woman is actually going to set a demand like that with any serious expectation of a fulfilling relationship. It's like, we have the right to tattoo a penis in our face, right? But nobody is actually going to do it, right? It's about the principle of having complete control over every individuals body. It doesn't mean everybody is going to walk around with a tattoo like that.

Fair enough

It means consent CAN go from just a "yes" in the beginning to a "yes" every step of the way. Depends on the girl though, doesn't it? If she's cool with it then there's no problem is there? But if she isn't you can't go "buh janice didn't want me to do that, so I guess Imma rape you teeheehee". Context, numbnuts, depends on the girl, if a girl you're dating wants you to ask every step of the way then you absolutely have to, no "buh buh too much work" or "buh buh kills the mood". Stfu and do it, or foff
Are you saying that's the case if the girl explicitly states that requirement? If so, I agree.
If you're saying the guy's supposed to divine that requirement from the girl's non-verbal cues, then I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree, mmkay?

If you think I've got anything against Catholics, why don't you come over to TTA and see how I interact with Shai over there?
Or, alternatively, you can continue with the snide insinuations.
I sure am learning a lot about the folks here.

Can you show us specific examples of things I've posted in the past which make you accuse me of trying to advance Catholic agenda with my earlier post? And that I'm lying when I tell you that's not the case?

If someone is raised Catholic and adopts those values in the process, is every statement they make that reflects those values therefore a deliberate attempt to further the Catholic agenda?

He's wrong about the agenda thing, but considering the things said about theists here, I don't see that it's as big a deal as is being made out.

Whateverist, even if someone has a religious agenda (read: religious background), that doesn't make their posts less genuine. I've seen less-than-genuine posts, and they usually start with something like, "I despise arguing, but . . . " or "I'm not racist, but . . ."

If you think that's bad, you should see the stuff said about atheists, like everywhere!
