That one got its own WTFIWWY episode. Relevant portion on 25:50

To be fair, I don't think the guy claimed it was for emotional support.

And the news article: https://www.chinasmack.com/subway-statio...en-beehive

And it's at this point where I just think: dude, there's shit you can put on your iPad to use for emotional support, including several meditation apps (Buddhify is my personal favourite.) You can use that as long as you don't use it during takeoff. And even for that, there's fidget spinners. I've got a bunch of them. Haven't used them on a plane, but I don't think they'll cause much trouble if you stick with the classic design (and if you choose to go beyond that, no pointed edges, nothing that looks like it could be used as a weapon [at least, any more than any solid object you throw could be]).

I'm skeptical about all these alleged 'support animals' that seem to be everywhere these days. I think it's just a sneaky way to bring your pet to places where normally you can't bring pets.

And a peacock, for pete's sake? Those things are loud, I can't imagine sitting next to one of those on a flight!

Quote:United Airlines confirmed that the exotic animal was barred from the plane Saturday because it “did not meet guidelines for a number of reasons, including its weight and size.”

“We explained this to the customer on three separate occasions before they arrived at the airport,” an airline spokeswoman said in a statement Tuesday to The Washington Post.

Does that mean I can't fly with my emotional support Blue whale?
