Ask someone with Asperger's syndrome.

RE: Ask someone with Asperger's syndrome.
What could you possibly have to do in the garden today but fling mud?  Wink

JK, I'm about to go on a long hiatus from the boards myself.  Feb 20th and I go back to being productively employed, lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

That is 10 days away. Also, you might lose your place as best debater to anyone else but Huggy. Big Grin

Any man that gets an ignore from Ryft is worthy of respect from me. The door will be open, like those old saloon doors.

Yep, fast approaching.  The wife and I celebrate Anniversabirthentines Day, and then it's seed seed seed.

Well... in that case...

You say this like it isn't something I've already been eagerly anticipating.

You obviously live in some part of the country where free water just falls from the sky.  Not a lot of water lately.  Disappointingly about half the weeding I've had to leave the roots because the ground is dry.

I've invited the folks from our pop up dog park in the city park behind us over for tea at 4 tomorrow.  So I'm not putting on the full dog but it is a good excuse to do a little advance prep toward some events we'll have out there starting in a couple months.  Maybe I'll post some pictures if I can remember to take some.

So sad about you joining the ranks of the useful again so soon.  Until then:

What's your wife take on you spreading your seed far and wide? Tongue

BoT, I've wondered if I am on the spectrum, based on online test results. I dunno if it's worth looking into at this time of my life.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Honestly, I don't know if I would. Something about medication itself that makes me wary about using it myself, especially if intended to treat psychological problems. To be clear, I'm ok with the way I am, despite occasional fantasies of being different. After all, this is life, and one can't have everything. And as you say, no such thing as truly normal. It's all in degrees.

That is up to you. You know the most about your life experiences. How much of an impact has this had on you in life, in case you do have autism? Dan Aykroyd has done quite well in life despite being diagnosed with autism.

Also, Temple Grandin, David Byrne, Anthony Hopkins, Susan Boyle, Paddy Considine, Daryl Hannah, Dan Harmon, Courtney Love, Matt Savage, John Elder Robison, Satoshi Tajiri, and I'm sure there's a bunch of other people who may or may not have had it, but died before they could be professionally diagnosed (Paul Dirac, Glenn Gould, and Stanley Kubrick come to mind)
