Overthink and overcomplicate everything! For fucks sakes man it's not that hard; you wanna learn something just learn it... forget about what your bloody neurons are doing... or what you think they're doing... and just get off your arse and learn it. Ie too much theory and not enough practice.

Now that's how it's done Clap ... mine's lacking ever-so-slightly Big Grin in the humour department... go blow Plato out your ass... love that Wink

I didn't even finish my philosophy course... for the aforementioned reasons of overcomplicating things... ie how do you learn something that has no structure? Loads of different philosophers all with different styles... it was just too overwhelming for me. I tried to put neural principles into play... as in learning context... mind maps and the like... and that helped to cement some of it, but ultimately I wish I didn't think like that... I wish I just tried to learn it the old fashioned way as it were... the way I did when I was at school, which was without overthinking it.

Generally, philosophy is an overrated and esoteric mental excessive with the occasional joy of engaging in a little verbal jousting. If you don't take it with a grain of salt or yourself too seriously it adds a little spice to life. Kind of like beer snobbery,...its still just beer.
