Joking aside, I find small talk pointless. I'd rather talk with some content and context, some substance in my dialogue.

I'm terrible at small talk but over time I've learned to bullshit my way through a few topics when necessary-

Weather
Sports
Food

After that, I just try to leave quickly or, if I can't escape, plaster on a smile.
