I imagine I do.
IPAs, stouts, sours.
This is a difficult question. I drive around meeting little breweries and always have a favorite beer at every place. I can’t imagine having a favorite beer all together. It’s like when my son asks me what has been the funniest thing to ever happen to me. In my life? That’s tough. I can mention beers that I’m fond of, but they’re not necessarily the best I’ve had. Old Rasputin (North Coast Brewing Co) immediately gives me a nostalgic sentiment and I almost want to hug whomever is next to me when I drink it. It has a story, plus it’s delicious. Creme brûlée Imperial Stout (Souther Tier Brewing Co) is a little piece of heaven if there was one. For a minute. Those names come to mind, yet I’ve had countless IPAs that I’d probably choose over these many days. I just can’t think of specific names that would do the “style” justice as a favorite. I mean... there are so many! I’ll have to go down my beer pictures and try to remember which ones stood out. It could take a while.

I find the social worker aspect extremely intriguing. This may be strange to ask but were you already an atheist when you started? I have a cop friend who was Catholic until he became a detective and now he said he can't believe a god worth following would put people through stuff he has seen them go through. I'm not sure my paramedic husband won't follow that same path. I feel like it's in the line of work of helping people.
