People treat them like dogs. They like to travel in a van, lying down and looking out the window. The few times I have driven a Llama to the vet, I got people in the streets turning their heads. They also will only go potty in their chosen toilet. Not on a visit in the house or in the van. When people travel long distance with them, they have to bring a bag of Llama pellets to create a "toilet" for them to go on breaks.

How do llamas relate to people?  Do they like us or just tolerate?  I've read they can defend other grazers from coyotes.  That is pretty cool but would make me nervous for my dogs a little.

Is that a dwarf llama?  I think he just doesn't like anyone coming at him with a spoon like that.

Here I am telling The Nanners that he can't go bother the neighbors in the rain. He was very insistent that it would be okay.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Quote:Sheba sleeping so pretty.

Cats have that talent.  We had two, Ralph and Norton, who would sleep curled up in the same laundry basket.  One was orange and the other black and they looked like a yin-yang symbol.

His facial expression says he thinks he has a valid objection you should at least hear.

I heard all arguments and made what I thought was a fair decision.

He sleeps now with his butt facing me.
