Trazadone is an amazing thing. Between the 24 hour pain injection and the Trazadone I gave her last night, once she settled down she didn't make a peep all night. I hope to let her out to wander a bit today and maybe eat and drink some. She was only interested in a treat last night. My problem will be keeping her from jumping onto furniture...I need to build some barricades...maybe with the kitchen chairs so she can't get onto the couch. I have to MacGyver something to keep her on ground level.

I moved the crate, which is huge, in front of the couch and put the gate we sometimes use in front of the part the crate doesn't cover.
Learned that a dog used to drinking from a fountain is going to struggle with a cone. Had her lapping some water from my hand and got her to eat a little bit of food so her medication doesn't make her queasy, hopefully. She follows me around running into the backs of my legs with the cone. May switch to the inflatable collar later today.
