So Igy ....you have to come to Poland and try all of these desserts...they're really worth it..and don't worry a few hours of exercise in bed and you get back in shape..only pleasant things

We need to start taking photos of nice food at restaurants/pubs we visit...
D went to a Japanese place in the "What's up" thread.
Would have liked to see a picture of it because I didn't understand any of it! lol

(I'm not very worldly!) It's a pity you wrote it now.... yesterday I was in a very nice restaurant ... I don't know if it was Japanese or Chinese... anyway they served unearthly sushi which looked extraordinarily good...but i didn't do even one pic

I’ve made a few Iranian dishes so far and I’m pretty good at making Italian food.
I learned to cook from my Syrian Grandmother. My workplace held an International Food Fair yesterday. I made a traditional Baklawa (Baklava, for you Greek food lovers). My Baklawa won the "Best of" hands down.
I cook Syrian food on a regular basis. My Mother spent a month with me over the holidays. I cooked our comfort foods : Lentils and rice (Mujuddara), Dolma, Hummus, Tabouli, Fatoush, Kibbi, and Lubi bezeit.

Well I’m sure if you go back far enough then yeah, my nan’s surname on my dads side is Welsh and my Mom’s family name is Irish, but right up to my great grandparents they’re all English born. My surname can be traced back to the 1400’s and is of Norman origin, so I’d say I’m as English as it gets.
