I just realized, that picture is not the exact model, but the kitchen/living room is virtually the same.
I personally know the man who owned that business, I've worked on his heat and air conditioning for years. Buffet owns it now but Jim built it from the ground up, sold it and now owns a bank and uses it to help people. He might be filthy rich but he is a good man and just as common as they come.

I cam't stress this enough. I hate the logic of religion, that does not mean I hate every religious individual. I also don't hate every rich person. I like Buffet. He's often said he didn't understand why he has a lower tax rate than his secretary.

I feel like I am back in college/high school, procrastinating and cramming for finals. I really don't have much shit I have to move out. But I do need to get it done this week. My salesperson said it would be best if I was out of the house by this Friday.
Need to find a pet friendly hotel for my cat. I can't stay in one forever though. Gonna hit up my friend for a week after I stay at the hotel.
But once this is done and over and I am back in, I'll be able to take showers again, and not worry about bugs.

Sitting on my ass all day long
So, had a a couple of problems today. Biggest one was that I called him in the morning, "Ok, I'll give my contractor a call and get back to you."
9am........10am.....Nooon, 1pm 2pm......4pm....NADA nothing. Finally I call 4:50pm 10 mins before close. The other salesman answers, "He's on the other line." I said, "I'll hold" in an irritated tone. So finally he answers, "Oh, yea I was just talking to him, it looks like a go for Monday" I said, "So this is a definite?" Salesman, "Yes, this is definite, bright and early Monday morning."
He had all day to call that contractor, I don't understand why he would wait until almost close to get back to me. Ok but fine, I am ok with that because I do still need the weekend to get some small shit out of my house, and have Lowes pick up my riding mower Saturday anyway because it isn't running and still under warranty.
BUUUUUT, the other thing was, I needed to call my storage unit business to find out when they close the gates, because I wanted to get my big shit in there before they closed. So I call them, several times, I FUCKING HATE computerized crap. Turned out all I had to do was hit "0" from the start to talk to a live person, BUT did the company make that a verbal option? Nope. Anyho, the lady who works there in person is nice, BUT, she tells me I was $2 short when I paid my last bill and my unit was locked up. UM SAY WHAT? I have had that unit for over a year and NEVER once failed to pay in full. She figured the other lady entered my payment wrong. Point being, if I had not called, I could have been screwed the entire weekend and been fucked on Monday when the contractor came. I paid that $2 and she unlocked the unit and put my lock on, but ok, why didn't the corporate tracking software kick out a warning and send me a text? I signed up for that?

This is the last day I am spending in this dilapidated house. Gotta find a pet friendly hotel for a couple weeks. It is going to be nice to be able to take a shower. Gonna go try to find a USB WiFi stick so I can have internet when I am not in the hotel. I had a USB WiFi stick when I was in Australia.

Well this morning is the morning they are supposed to get things started. Today it is not supposed to rain, but all this week it is for the rest of the week. So not sure how much the rain will delay the demolition.

In a hotel now, watched them tear down my old house, had it almost done by the time I left.

Yeah, I've seen some buildings clobbered with a track hoe and/or other big equipment. Doesn't take long to turn something into match sticks.
