I believe, as according to Scripture the exact opposite is true. That it is the unbeliever who knows deep down inside that there is a God. I think you have this spun around.

The Bible also states there is a time for love and a time for hate, a time for war and a time for peace,.... There is a time to turn the other cheek and give the coat too. In general that is the rule to follow. We are to be humble, gentle, and patient servants of the Lord. At the same time we are to carry swords or these days that would be guns for self-defense as Jesus had His disciples purchase 2 swords among the 12 of them. It is also OK to kill in just warfare and it is OK to hunt righteously.
