You may not be, but it's been observed to happen..you could observe it yourself if you were so inclined....and it's demonstrably foolish to build even a small portion of your faith out of something in contradiction to known facts. I would be obsserving solid proof of adaption being called speciation.

What I've observed, is that even if you directly observed a speciation event, you would still insist that speciation does not occur.

Evolution has nothing to do with God. As far as I'm concerned, if God decided that evolution and selection was the way our flesh would come to be on this planet, then there is no conflict with what I believe at all.
Most Christians even believe the theory of Evol is true.
What I have a problem with is closer examination of their evidence for one species turning into an entirely different species. Lots of "this leads us to believe" and "this demonstrates that it is very likely to be ...." I'm sorry but that is called speculation, not fact.
