I have an education. The reliability of the KJV is pretty well known. It is not a perfect translation though but it is excellent. There are ways to get to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek though.

I've heard some others say this as well but many disagree and think it is the best version. I disagree with people that will only go by the KJV though because it is not perfect. It is nice to have other translations and even commentaries to help understand the meaning of the original texts.

I thought the ESV had the better translation in that case. The original Hebrew was then pointed out which I could not argue with. I should have stuck with the KJV in this instance. I wasn't trying to BS anyone. I don't do that.
