Yeah, my bad using a modern terminology for an ancient grouping. Although back then they weren't yet Hebrew, they were still a subset of the Canaanite grouping (with only their weird aversion to eating pig setting them apart).

I've read Asterix since I was 6.
The characters are better written, the story more compelling, and it has historical context.
Overall, a better book series.
