An attack on a couple of Marines by antifa. The marines were Latino. Antifa started out beating them for allegedly being Nazis, and then switched to beating them for being Hispanic.

Godinez and Torres testified that immediately after the short exchange, about a dozen people — including Keenan and Massey — attacked the two Marines, punching and kicking them, spraying them with mace and calling them “Nazis.”
“I’m Mexican!” a “bewildered” Godinez said he shouted while being attacked and called a “white supremacist.”
With that newly-discovered ethnic information, Keenan and other members reportedly shifted to racial insults, calling Godinez “spic” and “wetback,” the Marine told the judge.
Imagine the Everest-like mountain of idiocy one must scale to accuse a person of being a racist, only to then transition to accosting that same person with a barrage of racial slurs moments after learning of his Mexican background.

Woah! Imagine that. Antifa is a joke; it's mostly a bunch of white neckbeard internet nerds who have romanticized some idea of revolution in the US. Attacks like this show that they have zero organization and no idea how to even properly target the people they supposedly have a problem with. The switch from calling the man a Nazi to calling him "spic" shows that these people don't even represent what they claim to represent. How sad. Was anyone ever caught in connection with the attack?

At last count, three were apprehended and charged. I guess they caught two pretty quickly because one of them was on the radar because he tried to assault some plain clothes FBI agents at a neo nazi rally a few years back. The guy's got a gift for picking targets very badly. They caught a third member of the 'cell' a month or so later. They're being charged with assault and hate crimes.

I personally believe that people I disagree with should be allowed to speak their mind. I don't believe in silencing people just because I don't agree with them.

That's cool, but the Freeze Peach Grift doesn't have anything to do with that.
It's just a more palatable way to sell the notion that private entities and citizens should be compelled to provide a venue and audience for white supremacy.
