David Stockman working in the Reagan administration came up with that. A dab of ketchup was going to be deemed the equivalent of a serving of vegetables.

Tomato waste processors everywhere would rejoice, lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Thanks, I was thinking the Reagan administration, but didn't want to commit to potentially erroneous assignment of guilt.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Reagan admin took heat for snatching nutrition from the mouths of children while Nancy paraded designer gowns at state functions.

Only pic I could find that was close. The 7th grade version was not as appealing (our slice of plastic cheese was never melted and the meat was grayer) and would always follow a day when baked potato's were served.

RE: Farm Bill Food Fight
I'm viewing next year on my farm with some concern. Losing the property tax deduction on the income tax return is a 'hit' and the possibility of my health insurance outlays going up to around $40,000 next year is going to be a huge problem, especially in regards to the administration pissing off China and their retaliatory cut in purchasing American soy, thus lowering the prices I get for selling it.

I don't have a 'firm' number on how much my health insurance is going up next year, but the Iowa legislature changed some laws making it easier for 'healthy' people to opt for non ACA compliant health insurance. When you hear Obamacare criticized for being susceptible to a 'death spiral' in regards to premiums, it is very real and vivid concern for me. I'm having some pricey health issues and I have ab ACA policy that is rapidly turning into a financial nightmare and I'm not sure what the alternative is. Those now legal, cheaper alternatives to ACA in Iowa are unavailable to me since I have an existing condition.
