Two questions for theists.

@Quick I don't see how either of those questions are loaded lol.

They are loaded because it:
1) Requires one is honest with themselves into their own motivations for believing what they do believe AND
2) It's really easy to be dishonest when addressing the question or simply blowing it off as a hypothetical that would never happen

How does that make the question loaded, lol?

The question is what do you think you would feel and how do you think you would react.

But even without that part... even if it's answering an hypothetical that seems impossible to answer... that doesn't make it a loaded question, lol.

A loaded question is like "When did you stop beating your wife?"

The following questions apply to both ex-atheists and theists who have always believed since they were a small child (and everything in-between of course). Here come the questions:

If you stopped believing in God, and no longer considered the existence of God at all likely or probable in any way,  
(1) How do you think you would react emotionally?
and
( 2) How do you think it would impact and change your life overall?

Well I think you would know this even if I did not post it Hammy, I've said with all conviction I will never change what I know.

You started out your question with that huge two letter word "if." That is a statement to speculation and many times here I've said I do not believe in this type of speculation because it can hold no truth, it is guess work at best because no one can know the future. So the answer to both questions is this, how/why would you believe I could give up what I know is certain, it would be impossible to not consider God after having an undeniable relationship with Him, so how is it I could stop believing, it would be like trying to deny the existence of my mother and father just can't be done. I'm a Christian now, will be tomorrow and forever more. I can not speculate on what I know as the truth, for me it would be the same as betrayal and I'm not going to suffer through what Peter did, that is exactly why Peter's denial was put into the Bible, it's a warning of deep regret that could consume us.

If I became a theist, it wouldn't make any difference to me. I would act just the same, and would have no interest in joining any religion.

It would be interesting to learn about it, or to communicate with it if it wanted to.

Do you struggle with hypotheticals?

 No, I could hypothesize with the best, to me on subjects of this matter it is a waste of time, I couldn't change what I know for any reason. I'm not a recording tape that one could wipe the memory from, what's in my head and soul are there permanent and fully proven to me as the truth.

If you have noticed the only people who tend to identify their deity by name is the muslims.  They don't go in for that generic crap.  Christians will beat around the bush all day long to avoid identifying who their god is.  So it could be any of the thousands of deities.  It's like they are ashamed to be asscoiated with the creature that they say they worship.

How would you feel if you became a theist / went back to theism and how would the change to theism impact your life overall ( atheists are welcome to answer this )

I think the closest I would get to theism would be pantheism but definitely not Christianity
I do not think it would change me too much but I would be more aware of Gods existence

The great thing about being an atheist is that you have to do absolutely nothing in order to be one
Compare that to all the rituals and requirements the major belief systems expect of their followers

I would definitely not want to go through any of that again and so I would be a non conformist believer
My ideal deity would be one who simply lets you believe in him and expects nothing else from you at all
