I've often wondered if there was a way to alert us to someone we have already repped.

Apparently not.

I think there was a thread a while back where someone asked about it and I think it was Adrian who said he couldn't figure out how to make it work.

For what it's worth, I just discovered you haven't repped me.

And there are also Nigerian's hoping for a victim instead of people like me and Khem who enjoy stringing along scammers.

While it's not an alert, it is a way to tell if you've already repped someone. Go to their rep page and click on "Rate user" if the box comes up and it's empty, you haven't repped them. If there is something there, it will be the rating you gave them when you repped them.

Tibs, how hard to put a tiny little dot or something somewhere on people's posts so we know whether the rep field from us is not null?

The whole point of doing that to scammers is to completely derail them and waste their time and resources so that they can't do actual harm to real victims. Keep em' busy. That's the best policy.
