What is your problem with Islam? Think about it

The definition I showed you about all meaning without exception is in the first Google search I did. A synonym of all is without exception, they have the same meaning.

I should note that there is another verse saying that "associating other Gods with Allah" is in fact a sin:

Quote:https://quran.com/4/48?translations=

Sura 4, The Quran:
Sahih International

(48) Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

So you can cross that explanation; which takes me to the first one I made once again; it's an exception.

I take it to be cherry picking from your side now. The English translation is not literal.
In Arabic; instead of "but" there is "and".

You cherry picked a meaning for the word "but" that doesn't exist in other dictionaries.

I didn't mention the word "but" or show you a definition of it.

We were talking about the word "all" and I didn't cherry pick it, it's a synonym I found on my first google search.

I didn't even have to click on a website, it says it right there, fully, entirely, utterly, without reservation, in all aspects, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

"Taught me"?

You actually thought that you "taught me"?

He literally just said that he didn't actually believe he taught you. Are you trying to seem stupid for some reason?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

I judge by contexts, not words and gestures alone.

It's on the one I just showed you, all you did is type "all meaning" instead of "all definition" to get some different results, but they're still all interchangeable.

There's 2 which can reasonably be used in relation to sins.

On your results was "to emphasize the greatest possible amount of quantity"

So if this is about sins, the greatest possible quantity of sins is 100% of them.  Not excluding shirk, to exclude shirk while also claiming the greatest quantity of sins will be forgiven is a contradiction.

2

A whole quantity.

If I say I'm forgiving a the whole quantity of sins it means there's a quantifiable amount of sins and there isn't one which I'm not forgiving.  So if I'm also saying there is one I'm not forgiving this is a contradiction. Because that wouldn't be the whole quantity.  It's like saying "I ate the whole quantity of cake.  I left a piece of cake."

It doesn't matter which interchangeable meaning or definition you use or whatever similar way you can use the synonyms to the word "all" it's still going to be considered a contradiction in the way the quran words it in the English language.

I said I don't believe I taught you what the word "all" means, so by what contexts does that make you think I meant the exact opposite thing to what I said?

Considering we're on a forum and all you have to go by are the words I'm typing and the context of how I said it to you was extremely simple and straight forward.  I said I don't believe I taught you what the word "all" means.

How so?

"Immigrants from (xx) are not allowed into the EU, but immigrants from other places are welcome if the government accepts".
Another form:

"Immigrants from (xx) are not allowed into the EU, and immigrants from other places are welcome if the government accepts".
Another form:

"Immigrants from (xx) are not allowed into the EU, though immigrants from other places are welcome if the government accepts".

Right. But all immigrants are welcome. Immigrants from Italy are not welcome. Is a contradiction.

It doesn't matter what example you use.

You didn't include "but/and/though" in the above.

Perhaps it's just poor grammar, and what is intended instead is, "All immigrants but those from Italy are welcome." Hard to reconcile things when the thoughts get parted from each other; hard to reunite them again.

(But even so, that would somewhat impeach the text's credibility as a holy text.)
