We've never really tried. I keep hearing the self-defeatist crap about how it's hopeless because the country is so conservative. If that's the case, why are we pro-choice? Why is the anti-abortion-rights crowd so frustrated as to resort to terrorism? It's because the pro-life cause has made its case forcefully. It's time the rest of the left wing learned a few lessons from this one issue and stop accepting moderate-conservatives as the best that can be achieved.

Are you suggesting the liberal progressives resort to random acts of deadly violence? Aren't those that have commited these violent crimes been arrested, tried and convicted? Haven't they been considered extremist members and denounced by the moderate-conservatives in the party? How is your action going to be any different?

Um, no. Maybe you need to re-read my post.

Barely. If I were president, these groups would be labeled "Christian terrorist organizations" and fully investigated. Bill O'Riley and Glenn Beck would be arrested for inciting the act of murder. Distribution of "wanted dead or alive" posters would be arrested for inciting acts of murder.

Not from what I've seen. Extreme has been mainstreamed by the Republican party.

Not from what I've seen. Extreme has been mainstreamed by the Republican party. What orgs. were they members of? Barely convicted? That's like being barely pregnant. You either are or you aren't. You better look closer about the groups condemning those like the Atlanta Olympics bomber and the doc shooter.

The English term 'barely' in this context relating to a large group to the singular act of conviction through a court of law implies that convictions relative to individuals involved is disproportionately low, suggesting that those involved may not be prosecuted for their actions where a few others may be.

What large groups were they members of? Did those groups condone their actions? Who hasn't been prosecuted for violent acts? You insinuate that many violent acts without resultant prosecutions have occurred. I think your insinuation is BS!

I'm not satisfied that the murderer of George Tiller acted alone or just woke up one morning and decided to shoot an abortion doctor. Anti-abortion-rights groups and Christian organizations that he was affiliated with need to be investigated thoroughly to see what help or encouragement he received or if they had any prior knowledge of what was going to happen. The use of incendiary language language, like "Tiller-the-baby-killer", and slanderous allegations need to have consequences when this language fosters violence.

Well there's a definitive statement with plenty of factual support. Maybe we need to investigate the unions to root out their violent behavior too. Let's just start the witch trials all over again. Forget rules of evidence and probable cause. Forget the 1st Amendment. Forget slander and libel laws. Go with your gut. Yeah?

Whose side is the White House on anyway?

I've "known" Mishka for a long time. You'll get nothing from him except that corporations and their policies need to be defended with Mishka's last dying breath. Damn the unions and their arrogance for thinking that working people should have a pleasant life in exchange for their labors. The only good unemployed people are dead unemployed people and when can Mishka see their dead bodies. Mishka is pretty much soulless. On a former forum the usual response to Mishka was
"God, are you stupid."
Feel free to adapt it.

Abe, better look in the mirror when you say that. I didn't defend Fannie or Freddie, whic are semi public corps. The banks should have down their due diligence and not been bailed out under such favorable conditions. GM and Chrysler should have gone under Chap 7 and been sold off. The govt shouldn't be pcking favorites.
