I;d caution again against accepting drichs hateful god as representative of modern christianity. He has, on many occasions, bitched about all the ways his god is different from theirs. The only thing his god represents is his own inadequacy, and the basket of insecurities that go with that.
This isn;t to say that you;re going to get a more satisfying answer from a mainstream christian if one showed up to share, but consider the nature of the question you;ve asked. You;re looking for dry consistency in a composite mythology.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Some parents make their kids take their muddy shoes off before they enter the house. That doesn't mean the parents don't love their kids.
That isn't comparable to what god does to people who don't do what he says.

I do think it's interesting that Neo compared sinning to muddy shoes. It's almost as though an all-powerful deity would simply be slightly inconvenienced by sin, and that a proper response to it isn't permanent banishment and eternal suffering....

You haven't mastered it, Drich. You're playing Don Quixote, tilting at the windmill of "I understand this world better than you ever will." You're an angry little pissant who hasn't even figured out the link between rhetorical persuasion and basic courtesy.

He's the very epitome of a snowflake. He's so offended by people being different than he is, he just can't stand being anywhere near them. Muddying up his safe space.

I was under the impression that god had a thing for washing feet. Is that not an option this time, lol? I;ve never personally considered burning or annihilating any of my children for trudging dirt into my house. I just go get the mop.

Even better: god loves everyone, but only decided to share this message 'directly' (obvious "prove it" caveats apply) to his chosen people. He could've just as easily appeared/fucked around in Africa proper, or Asia, or South America, or anywhere else outside of a small slice of the ancient Middle East. But apparently this game of spreading the message through mythology is more important than simply being direct with his purported loved ones.

I've often thought holiness a really retarded concept, it's just yet another man made excuse for why a god is exactly the same as no god.. An all powerful, all mighty, creator of the universe looks exactly the same as no god, because of... sin !!
When I was a Christian i believed it hook line and sinker, but since I see it as just plain stupid.
