Justice Kennedy retiring!

RE: Justice Kennedy retiring!
Gee, who could've predicted this.

Oh right... everybody. Trump gets a SECOND Supreme Court nomination because moderates were like "Same thing, both sides!" when one side wants to lock up children in fucking cages, and the other side calls those people deplorable.

If gay rights are overturned, I will probably be going to jail for how I'll protest.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I do not want to hear shit from the GOP after what they did to VOTERS!  NO, not Obama, but the voters whom TWICE put him in office to make that decision. Watch as these fuckers suddenly become hypocrites and claim we are the "obstructionists".

The days of polite are gone. They were dicks to Obama, so we are going to be dicks right back.

It seems have if you do not think this is wrong then!

RR, for the record, was the congressional GOP's stonewalling of Obama's nominee to the SC a principled stand, shrewd political gamesmanship, or a dick move? The man (universally deemed eminently qualified for the position) didn't even get the courtesy of a hearing! Are you ok with that?

Trump will get more than two, the way things look. With Kennedy heading out the door, and an ideological conservative certain to take his place, how long do you think Ginsburg will stick around to be part of a permanent dissenting minority? I expect her to say 'fuck it' and pack it in before 2020.

I wasn't really following the news on this, so I don't know the particulars. I go back and forth on this type of thing though.

I'm going to be taking a little break from strict atheism for a while and be spending time imagining various vivid and horrific torments in Hell for Hillary Clinton, Robby Mook, John Podesta, and Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.

irrigation pumps, high flow rate anal adapters, incandescently hot diseased animal sewage . . . . .

Vol, please, lets not get into  the Bernie/Hillary crap. That was not the individual politicians themselves, and Bernie ended up throwing his support behind Hillary. Our enemy isn't those who value livable wages or women's reproductive rights or better pay for workers. Our enemy is Trump, Ryan and Mich.

Seeing as how many of you seem so unhappy about this retirement, I am perfectly willing to accept the nomination.  While it is true that I am not, technically, a jurist, I have seen every episode of 'Rumpole Of The Bailey' at least once, and I've seen every courtroom sketch performed by Monty Python and Fry and Laurie.  I have also been arrested several times.

I live only to serve.

I'm afraid you may be overqualified, these days.

Welp! Get ready America. Women's rights, LGBT rights, minorities rights will all be destroyed. Pretty sad when a scumbag like Trump who mind you is under INVESTIGATION is going to be able to shape the Supreme Court for quite some time.
