Many of them also don't support the death penalty. Religious Catholics, for example. I don't think you can make an automatic correlation between prolife and pro death penalty.

My mother suffered quite a bit when I was coming out. I saw my wife having her vajayjay ripped apart to give birth.

The important part is to be born of a wanting mother. The scariest of all things. Suffice to say all men are born from women. We call them mother.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
