If losing means we have a much higher standard of living than they do - losing seems like winning to me. Go figure.

Like when he annexed Crimea. But that happened under Obama, so you're absolutely incorrect to say "once more" as if that capability is something new under Trump.

What exactly has he done, and what devastation was caused?
Quote:Putin has done in 3-4 years what the USSR had failed to do between 1945-1990, which is to shatter the NATO alliance that was designed to contain Russian military and political power on Euroasia, make the US self-distruct as leader of the western block and democratic nations in a way considerably more humiliating and more own-goal style then how the Soviet Union self-destructed as the leader of the communist block in 1989.
Except NATO hasn't been shattered. Trump's just making them pay their fair share.

No, he actually is acting like the head of the world order - like the superpower that we are. Previous administrations were reluctant to take on that role, instead wanting the rest of the world to vote on how we use our resources.

Pretty sure Russia annexed Crimea for its own benefit - under Obama.

Financially, trump is destroying the trading system that built your wealth.
Yeah, economic growth and full employment are real downers.
Quote:Militarily, he is turning allies into enemies.
Which ally cut ties with us?
Quote:Idealogically, trumps stance on everything is not followed by anyone anywhere.
The enws is showing Europe's sentiments to immigration changing to be in line with Trump's. Go figure.
Quote:And his tendency to just tear up agreements means that no one wants to make a deal with the US, why should they?
Because we're the world's biggest consumer, and everyone wants to sell to us. Trump's the first president to understand this and use it to our advantage.

No, but if it did, I'd actually be happy.
