What I do not like is the loophole that one office has that no other office does. John Edwards was not a president and was subject to arrest. If we are to be a nation of laws why should it matter if we are talking about a dog catcher, state legislator, mayor or president, of either party?

If you are claiming we wont get criminal charges on 45 or that we cant flip the house so we can impeach him, my point is don't count those out. We can still make him a 1 term president regardless.

Polls show that by an overwhelming majority, Republicans look to, and believe, the word of Trump over that of the media. If the Republicans in congress are representative of the greater majority of Republicans, it may very well be that in spite of evidence and media reports, they simply chalk it up to "fake news" and a conspiratorial witch hunt, and turn a deaf ear to anything Mueller uncovers.
