Always tell your house to eat it's spinach! Just had a friend look at mine and said it had no damage. 

I was lucky, unfortunately others in NC were not so lucky.

It is a mess. It is about location, category, topography, and building codes. Other locations were not so lucky. New Bern and Lumberton and Conway NC for example got pummeled. There are still parts of the highway I am coming home on that are blocked. Even here in Durham 190 miles inland they had some flooded roads.

There were houses on the outer banks that got damaged too. Seen footage of flooded businesses on some of the beaches. I consider myself lucky.

Some fucking asshole in the hotel I am staying at is up to no good. The guy for the past couple of days has been in and out at least 10 times a day, getting in his car, leaving and coming back 10 to 20 minutes later. And the fucker is slamming shit in his room, and no it isn't the door either. I finally reported it to the front desk.
