 The basic grounds for any successful debates with a Wahhabi is very simple. Use the Quran only and don't allow the Wahhabi/Sunni/Shiite resort to the Hadith.

Question begging, you're assuming that the hadith is unreliable to defeat the Wahhabis who think it's indeed reliable. 

2-Bring up the victims and fatalities that fell due to following the Hadith:

3-Show him that Sunni Islam and Shiite Islam are perfect religions for any dictator.

If a dictator goes against the core teachings of Sunni Islam, Muslims are explcitly allowed to overthrow him by any means necessary. I think that's enough to invalidate your claim.
